The Dauphin County Woodland Owners Association (DCWOA) will host its 12th annual Woodland Owner's Conference on Saturday, March 16, at the Dauphin County Agricultural & Natural Resources Center, 1451 Peters Mountain Road, Dauphin. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. for registration and refreshments. The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This program is free and open to the public. It is especially geared for people interested in learning more about Pennsylvania forests or maintaining and improving forest diversity on a wooded property. An optional box lunch will be available for a fee, payable at registration.

This year's program will feature a panel of experts making presentations on a wide variety of woodland-related topics, including sustainable timber harvesting, improving wildlife habitat, reintroduction of the American marten, trout/watershed management, and winter tree identification.
