Elizabethtown Area High School student Marley Stauffer, a bassoonist from the school's band program, participated in the 2024 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) Region V Band Festival. The festival took place from Feb. 22 to 24 at Eastern York High School and featured guest conductor Margaret Underwood from Western Carolina University.

Marley joined an ensemble of 148 students from various schools across the region. These students were chosen through a rigorous audition process at the PMEA District 7 and District 10 band festivals held earlier this year, with only the top performers in each section advancing to the regional event.
