Elizabethtown Area High School recently announced the induction of 74 students into the T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). NHS membership is among the highest honors bestowed upon high school students nationwide. Candidates are selected based on their demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character. The four pillars represent the fundamental values upheld by the NHS and serve as guiding principles for its members.

 The induction ceremony featured remarks from Meghan Busby, assistant high school principal; Theresa Swenson, NHS advisor; and current NHS members, who highlighted the honor's significance and membership responsibilities. Each inductee received a certificate of membership and took part in a symbolic candle-lighting ceremony, signifying his or her commitment to uphold the principles of the NHS.

The newly inducted members have demonstrated academic excellence and dedication to serving others and making positive contributions to their community.
