Lions Club sets egg hunt

The Marietta Lions Club will hold its 22nd annual Charles Huck Memorial Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, promptly at 1 p.m., rain or shine. The event will be held at the War Memorial Park, and attendees should enter the park using Aaron Avenue.

The egg hunt is for children ages 6 months to 10 years. They will be divided into four age groups, with prizes given in each group. A grand prize will be awarded at the end of the egg hunt.

The Marietta Lions Club has served its community for 92 years. Besides the egg hunt, projects include the purchase, maintenance, and hanging of Christmas lights; highway cleanup on Route 441; regularly supplying food and funding for the local food bank; and offering roast beef sandwiches at Marietta Day.
