Re-entry program honors graduates

The Exit, Enter, Employ program, or E3, recently recognized five graduates. E3 is a re-entry program that readies those with prior justice system involvement to enter the manufacturing workforce. It is funded by Chester County Government with American Rescue Plan Act funds.

Developed and administered by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), the E3 program is offered as pre-release classes for those at Chester County Prison who will soon exit the justice system and post-release classes for those who have recently exited the justice system. Participants learn skills needed for employment in manufacturing and earn certifications in job safety, customer service, and more. Other areas of instruction include social skills, interviewing, and problem-solving techniques. Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union provides workshops on personal finance.
