Touchstone Foundation will hold its third annual Feast of the Senses event and auction on Thursday, May 9, at Excelsior, 125 E. King St., Lancaster. Touchstone Foundation is also celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, due to the sale of Community Hospital of Lancaster in 1999.

Feast of the Senses is a dining experience with five food and beverage stations highlighting Touchstone Foundation's programs and each of the five senses. Attendees may enjoy specially curated small plates featuring locally sourced ingredients as well as beverage pairings.

Guests may use their sense of sight at the butter board station, highlighting the Rise Above Youth Summit program; smell smoked brisket at the Mental Health Clinical Fellowship station; use their sense of hearing while enjoying grilled vegetables and a warm grain bowl at a station highlighting the parent mental wellness program, A Moment to Breathe; experience the sense of touch at the taco table, showcasing the Mental Health Access Assistance program; and enjoy the sense of taste at a pasta bar featuring the Mental Health Careers Scholarship program. Dessert will be available.

The event will also include a silent auction, giveaway drawings, and a live auction with HK Keller Auctioneers.

In 2022, Touchstone Foundation hosted its inaugural Feast of the Senses fundraiser, raising over $90,900. The funds raised last year helped to support children, youths, and families through the foundation's various programs. Touchstone's three main goals are to improve access, build the talent pipeline, and create awareness. For example, Touchstone Foundation helps families afford therapy, contributing funds toward copays or deductibles to help families in need. Scholarships are provided for students pursuing careers in mental health, and a training program helps graduates obtain the clinical supervision hours required to earn a license to practice in mental health care.
