Conversation E-town - William Penn: Who Knew? Presented by Mary Conrad

Apr 18

How did William Penn, who was born in 1644 in London, receive a charter granting him ownership of land in the "new world?"

How did someone who had no governmental leadership experience create the government for Pennsylvania?

Is there a connection between William Penn and Winters Heritage House?

Local resident and history connoisseur, Mary Conrad, will answer these questions and many more at this month's Conversation E-town on April 18, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Conversation E-town series is provided to the public free of charge. However, as space is limited, RSVPs are requested. Please RSVP via phone (717) 367-4672 or by e-mailing Teresa@ElizabethtownHistory.org.

The presentation will be held at our Victorian H.U. Coble House at 33 E. High St, located adjacent to the museum. Free and metered parking is located behind the building.
