Mount Joy Rotary recognizes students

Donegal High School has announced that Zoe Snyder and Brock Hammaker are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for April. Students of the Month are honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during the group's monthly luncheon meeting.

Zoe is the daughter of Brandy and Troy Snyder of Mount Joy. She is a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), Tri-M Music Honor Society. Donegal Performing Arts, the orchestra, and the prayer group, and she serves as a peer tutor. Outside of school, Zoe volunteers at a local horse farm and is active in her church's youth group and worship team. After graduation, she plans to attend a Christian gap year program with One Life. Through the program, she will learn about ministry concepts and leadership, attend mission trips, and earn credits for ministry courses at Cairn University.

Brock is the son of Renee and Larry Hammaker of Mount Joy. He is captain of the baseball and football teams and a member of NHS and the chess club. He volunteers with Power Packs, a community service program that benefits families locally. Outside of school, Brock plays on a travel baseball team and in an adult baseball league. He plans to attend Bloomsburg University to study electronics engineering and play baseball.
