Grant to provide free concert tickets

Through a grant from the Women's Club of Manheim, Gretna Music will offer 100 free tickets for its upcoming mainstage concerts to those with a Manheim Central address. A maximum of four tickets per household are available. Performances will take place at Mt. Gretna Playhouse, 200 Pennsylvania Ave., Mount Gretna, and this year's season brings Grammy Award winners and nominees, and artists of many genres.

All performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The dates and performers will be Sunday, June 9, Black Oak Ensemble at 3 p.m.; Monday, June 10, Raleigh Ringers at 7 p.m.; Sunday, June 16, Timberdale Brass at 3 p.m.; Sunday, June 30, Ulyssess String Quartet; Sunday, July 21, Turtle Island Quartet; Monday, July 22, Apollo's Fire; Saturday, July 27, harpist Brandee Younger, in cooperation with Central PA Friends of Jazz; Sunday, July 28, "Painting a Picture With Clarinet and Piano"; Sunday, Aug. 4, pianist Sarah Cahill; Friday, Aug. 9, Charles McPherson Quintet, in cooperation with Central PA Friends of Jazz; Saturday, Aug. 10, Plena Libre; Sunday, Aug. 11, Hermitage Piano Trio; Sunday, Aug. 25, Concordian Dawn; Sunday, Sept. 1, Tesla Quartet and pianist Joel Fan at 3 p.m.; and Saturday, Sept. 7, Manhattan Chamber Ensemble at 3 p.m.

First Listen programs will occur before most of the mainstage performances. First Listen is a series of free mini concerts by local youths.
