Conteh earns lacrosse honors

Cyrose Conteh of Elizabethtown, a member of the No. 12 Kutztown University (KU) women's lacrosse team, received All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East recognition, voted on by the head coaches. Conteh was named to the first team, and it was her third All-PSAC honor.

Additionally, she received first team recognition on an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Atlantic Region team and was named to the IWLCA Division II All-America second team.

She was also voted to a 2024 USA Lacrosse All-America squad as a member of the third team.

Conteh, a defender, has started and played in 20 games this season. She is eighth in the conference with 37 caused turnovers, a career-best, and also won 67 draw controls and collected 40 ground balls. Conteh has scored one goal this season. She is third all-time at KU with 200 draw control wins and is fourth with 88 caused turnovers.

Conteh is a graduate student at Kutztown and an alumna of Elizabethtown Area High School.
