Program to focus on Hitler

The Central Pennsylvania World War II Roundtable will meet on Thursday, May 2, at 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 433 E. Main St., Hummelstown. The program will also be livestreamed on the group's YouTube channel, "Central Pennsylvania World War II Roundtable."

Dr. Tom Hutton, an Adolf Hitler historian, will speak about his book "Hitler's Maladies and Their Impact on World War II: A Behavioral Neurologist's View," published in 2023. In writing his book, Hutton, who holds a Doctor of Medicine and a doctorate, combined decades of experience with recent developments in neurological research to understand how Hitler's mental health and personality disorders fueled his ambitions of power and altered his decision-making. While much is known about Hitler's physical maladies, Hutton's deep dive into Hitler's coming of age during post-World War I Europe reveals the early indicators of his later views and plans.

The meeting is open to the public, and no registration is required. Additional information can be found at http://www.centralpaww2roundtable.org.

The Central Pennsylvania World War II Roundtable is a nonprofit organization that provides a forum for World War II veterans, authors, historians, and citizens to share their knowledge and experiences related to the war.
