Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, will present the children's musical "Fishers of Men" on Sunday, June 2. The program will be held at 10:15 a.m. during the morning worship service and again at 6:30 p.m.

Children age 4 through grade six will sing praise and worship songs to tell the story of Peter transforming from a fisherman to a follower of Jesus. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the evening service.

Additionally, Chiques Church will present "The Great Jungle Journey" vacation Bible school (VBS) on Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13, from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m.

The VBS program will cover Genesis to Revelation with stops at seven "ports" that represent the C's of history: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross and Consummation. Children will discover how these concepts shape their world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life.

Each evening will begin with music and prayer time, followed by Bible lessons in age-appropriate classrooms. Children will get to enjoy games and crafts, as well as a snack each night. Each evening will close with more singing and a drama.
