Teen book group to focus on mental health

A Just2Talk teen group will meet on Mondays from June 17 to July 8 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Business Center on the second floor of the Elizabethtown Library, 10 S. Market St., Elizabethtown.

Participants will read and discuss "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. The book tells the story of a teenage girl grappling with the aftermath of a traumatic experience as she navigates high school and begins her journey toward healing. The book explores the themes of trauma and the importance of finding one's voice.

Attendees will receive a free copy of the book. Snacks will be available, and mental wellness strategies will be shared.

The group is free of charge and is funded by Mental Health America of Lancaster County through a grant.
