Women's club installs officers

Members of the Millersville Woman's Club installed officers for the 2024-25 club year on May 21.

The officers are Louise Brown, president; Jackie Shaw, first vice president; Karen Choppa, second vice president; Beverly Zbiek-Beam, recording secretary; Nancy Dornsife, corresponding secretary; and Linda Davis, treasurer. The installation luncheon was held at Gordinier Hall at Millersville University. The event was hosted by Brown, Davis, and Carol Goss. Goss also installed the officers. She used a "Colors" theme, matching each woman by her office to a particular color and flower.

The main purpose of the club is to provide scholarships for Penn Manor and Lancaster County Career & Technology Center seniors. In addition, the club helps to fund both international and community programs. Its main fundraisers are a card and game party in the fall, a Christmas cookie sale in the winter, and an indoor community garage sale in the spring.

The club is open to all women who live in the Penn Manor area. For more information, call 717-917-6677 or 407-416-3231.
