Hoober Inc. awards scholarship to DVU student

Delaware Valley University (DVU) held its annual A-Day festivities on April 27. Part of the festivities included the awarding of scholarships to DVU students that are presented by Pennsylvania businesses.

Brad Hershey, store manager of the Hoober Inc. Mifflintown location, awarded a $3,000 scholarship to Jackson Price of Strasburg, a junior agribusiness major specializing in crop production. Price's extracurricular involvements include Collegiate Farm Bureau, Collegiate FFA, National Agri-Marketing Association, DVU A-Day committee and AGR.
