Holocaust survivor to speak

The Military Oral History Club of Lancaster County will meet on Tuesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at VFW Post 2435, 401 Manor St., Columbia.

The speaker will be Sami Steigmann, who is a Holocaust survivor, an educator, and a motivational speaker. When he was a toddler, he was subjected to Nazi medical experimentation in a Ukrainian labor camp while his parents were put to work, and Steigmann would not have survived if it were not for a German woman. Steigmann seeks to tell his story to as many people as possible.

The meeting is open to the public. For more information, call 717-319-3430.
