Grange posts Dairy Month coloring contest

Children are invited to participate in a coloring contest promoting the benefits of dairy products. The free contest, sponsored by Elizabethtown Area Grange 2076, is open to children up to age 12.

The contest occurs during Dairy Month, June, which serves as a tribute to the men and women in the dairy industry. Matt Espenshade, master of the Elizabethtown Grange, noted that the contest is intended to remind the young and young-at-heart of the importance of dairy in their diets.

The contest is divided into two age divisions: up to 5 years old and ages 6 to 12. Prizes will be given to the top three individuals in each division.

Contest forms are available at the Elizabethtown Public Library, 10 S. Market St., at the display near the children's circulation desk on the upper level. Parents are asked to fill out the information on the back. After the child colors the page using crayons, the completed entry should be returned to the children's circulation desk by Monday, July 1. Winners will be invited to an ice cream social at the library in early July.
