At the Memorial Day celebration in Maytown on May 27, people had the opportunity to win an American flag blanket hand-crocheted by Nila Grose.

The winner, Gary Welch, planned to present the blanket as a birthday gift to his daughter, Navy officer Sarah G. Welch. Sarah, a 2014 graduate of Donegal High School, has served in the Navy for 10 years.
