Festival lineup announced

CrocodileDog Marketing (CDM) has announced the lineup for the 2024 festival season, celebrating the heritage of the Pennsylvania wine and craft beer scene.

The inaugural Helter Seltzer event, featuring hard seltzers from a variety of vendors, will take place on Saturday, July 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Ruins Hall, 30 Enterprise St., Glen Rock. The festival will offer varieties from classic fruit-infused flavors to unconventional blends. The Zero ABV Festival will be held on Sunday, July 14, from 1 to 4 p.m., offering mocktails and non-alcoholic ales.

Brew Kids on the Block will be held on North George Street in downtown York on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature offerings from emerging breweries chosen by Gift Horse Brewing Company.

Yorktoberfest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bob Hoffman Fields on Vander Avenue in York, offering a taste of German culture with traditional music, food and beer. The Glen Rocktoberfest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ruins Hall.

CDM noted that its largest community festival, What the Food Trucks in York's Penn Park, has been discontinued due the increase of food trucks in the community and dwindling sponsorships and volunteers.
