Ministry plans fundraising banquet

Revelations of Freedom Ministries (ROFM) invites the community to its annual fundraising banquet, Victory: An Evening of Freedom Stories, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m. at the Shady Maple Banquet and Conference Center, 129 Toddy Drive, East Earl. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

During the event, current and former ROFM students will share their experiences of overcoming addiction and finding hope, and ROFM CEO Tom Carr will share updates on the ministry's impact and his vision for the future. David Akers, a former Philadelphia Eagles placekicker, will deliver a keynote address focused on perseverance and faith. Cavod will provide a musical performance.

ROFM is a 10-month residential addiction recovery program with the mission to lead men in recovery toward lifelong freedom through life skills education, relationship restoration, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. Participants can work at Freedom Thrift and other community partners to build job skills while earning wages. ROFM also offers transitional living for recent graduates for up to two years.
