The newly formed Family Cub Scout Pack 39 in Mount Joy held its first Blue and Gold Banquet at the Gathering Place. The Blue and Gold Banquet is a gathering of the Cub Scout families, their leaders and guests to celebrate the advancement of the Cubs to their next rank.

The new pack is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mount Joy. Open to boys and girls in kindergarten through grade five, the pack meets at Mary Mother of the Church, 625 Union School Road, Mount Joy.
