Organizers of the 100th West Lampeter Community Fair are seeking former fair queens to participate in a special event on Sept. 22. The fair will take place from Wednesday to Friday, Sept. 25 to 27, and it will be preceded by special events on Sunday to Tuesday, Sept. 22 to 24. Among these will be an opening ceremony at 4 p.m. on Sept. 22. The West Lampeter Fair Queen Parade and Contest has been moved to Sunday for the 100th year.

Contact information is needed for the livestock queens from 1959 to 1962 and the fair queens from 1963 to 1968 and 1971 to 1974, as well as from 1976, 1979, 1980, 1984, 1985, 1991, 1993, 1996, and 1999. To contact the organizers, email westlampeterfairqueen@gmail.com or call 717-940-5270.
