Art museum plans yoga classes

The Phillips Museum of Art at Franklin & Marshall College will offer yoga sessions free of charge during the fall semester. The classes will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the museum galleries on Tuesdays, Sept. 10, Sept. 17, Oct. 1, Oct. 8, Oct. 22, and Nov. 5, as well as Thursdays, Sept. 5, Sept. 26, Oct. 17, Oct. 31, Nov. 14, Nov. 21, and Dec. 5.

The sessions are open to all community members age 18 and up. Beginners are welcome, and mats will be provided. Participants may attend one or more sessions, and preregistration is not required. The classes will be presented by West End Yoga and brought to the community courtesy of the Phillips Museum and the Mindfulness Program of Franklin & Marshall College.

The Phillips Museum of Art is located in Steinman College Center at 628 College Ave., Lancaster. Parking is available on College Avenue; visitors may also park in the Williamson parking lot, accessible from Harrisburg Avenue and located across from the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center and Iron Hill Brewery.
