Palmyra First United Methodist Church (UMC) is in the process of planning a Blessing of the Animals event, to be held on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The church is looking for vendors, nonprofits and food trucks that would like to participate. There is no fee to sign up.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until noon, and the vendors will be set up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held outdoors, but will be moved inside in the case of inclement weather.

Those who are interested in signing up as a vendor, including representatives from nonprofit organizations, are asked to contact Heidi at 717-838 -2551 or admin@palmyrafirst.org.

Palmyra First UMC is located at 520 E. Birch St., Pamyra, and the church's office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
