Rookie Lacrosse will be offered for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 on Sundays, Sept. 15, 22, and 29, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Jane Hoover Field at Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS), 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown. Participants will be introduced to the basics of the game of lacrosse. The skills of catching, passing, and shooting will be emphasized along with small group games to highlight the skills learned. The program will be led by Elizabethtown Youth Lacrosse Club coaches. Participants will receive a T-shirt.

Parent and Child Swimming will take place on Saturdays, Sept. 7 to Oct. 26. Sessions will be offered from 8 to 8:30 a.m. for children ages 6 to 24 months and from 8:40 to 9:10 a.m. for children ages 2 to 3 years old. A parent or guardian must participate in the pool with each child. This class is designed to help young children feel comfortable in and around the water. Both classes will be held at the Masonic Village Patton Pool, 1244 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown.

Paint a Pillow will be offered at the Winters Heritage House, 47 E. High St., Elizabethtown. A fall-themed class will be held on Monday, Sept. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m., and a holiday- and December-themed class will occur on Monday, Nov. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. Barbara Plunkett will guide participants through painting a seasonal wreath image on a pillow cover. The pillow, pillow cover, and paint will be provided.
