York Aglow to host Williams

York Aglow will host Trevor Williams on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 9 a.m. in Dixon Hall at Gateway Church International, 50 Blunston Lane, York.

Williams was born in Lancaster and grew up in a Christian home, but he experienced childhood abuse that led to an addiction. He gave his life to Jesus a day before his 20th birthday.

He was mentored at The Chapel in Harrisburg and received his official ministerial license at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He has served in various capacities at Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Lancaster, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in York, and Redemption International Ministries, along with the Arbor Place Inc. youth center in Lancaster. He has also worked as a professional musician and is the author of the book "God of the Gray Area."

Williams is a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Bible with a concentration in ministry and Christian life from Lancaster Bible College. He also served in the United States Army Reserves. He has three children.
