The Maytown Historical Society will serve a chicken and waffle dinner at the society's museum, 4 W. High St., Maytown, on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to waffles with chicken and gravy, the dinner will include homegrown green beans, coleslaw, cookies and water.

The meal will be available for takeout or diners may eat on-site at tables in the backyard behind the museum.

There will be a cost per dinner; children under age 5 may eat for free. There will be no presales; tickets will only be sold at the door.
