Handi-Vangelism, 3261 Rothsville Road, Akron, will host a yard sale and bake sale on Friday, Oct. 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. A chicken barbecue will also take place on Oct. 12.

The yard sale will feature games, craft items, school and teaching supplies, household and kitchen items, adult and children's clothing, knick-knacks, books, CDs and DVDs, furniture, collectibles and more. Bake sale items and, on Saturday, chicken barbecue meals from Riehl's will be available while supplies last.

Proceeds will benefit the ministry and missionaries of Handi-Vangelism, a compassion ministry established in 1973 that serves individuals and families impacted by grief or disability.
