The York County Solid Waste Authority (YCSWA), facility owner, and Reworld York, facility operator, will host Hauler Appreciation Day at the York County Resource Recovery Center, 2651 Blackbridge Road, on Thursday, Oct. 3. The event will kick off at 6 a.m. in the hauler lounge with coffee and doughnuts compliments of Reworld. A packed lunch and giveaway provided by YCSWA will be distributed to haulers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is the 29th year Hauler Appreciation Day will be held at the York County Resource Recovery Center. In 2023, more than 200 people employed by various waste hauling companies were recognized at this event for their outstanding efforts.
