Sean Rowe to play at The Factory

Ever since Adam Nagle became the director of The Factory Ministries, 3293 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, he has been trying to organize a fundraising concert at the location. "We have looked at it a number of times, but we couldn't get the right artists, timing, resources," recalled Nagle.

Enter local influencer Brother Daniel with the contacts to bring national recording artist Sean Rowe to The Factory stage as part of an event called "Trying to Leave Something Behind." Rowe, known for his strong vocals and poetic lyrics, will perform a live benefit concert at The Factory on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. The event's name comes from Rowe's song "To Leave Something Behind," which was utilized at the end of the movie "The Accountant" starring Ben Affleck.

Daniel tells the story of the anonymous donor who has endeavored to make the concert available locally. "This is the ultimate pay-it-forward," said Daniel, who explained that "Trying to Leave Something Behind" refers to the legacy our life's work can leave for others. According to Daniel, the local anonymous donor did Rowe a favor at one time, and Rowe has insisted on paying that favor back. "Sean lives his faith," noted Daniel. "He said, 'I have to pay it forward.'" Since Rowe is on a tour of the Northeast and playing in nearby Wayne, he offered to come to the donor's house for a private concert. The donor wanted to do more. "We don't put our light under a bushel," pointed out Daniel. "We let it shine." The donor told Nagle that Rowe was available for one night and that he could play at The Factory. Nagle happily accepted the offer.

To help keep the costs of the event low, Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn is donating Rowe's accommodations during his visit to the area.

Along with the music, organizers have arranged for food to be available for purchase at the event. "We have a number of food trucks coming," said Daniel, who was especially happy to tell of one food truck owned by a woman who attended The Factory Ministries youth programs until she was in third grade. "She is coming back to support The Factory," stated Daniel, who added that each food truck owner would donate a portion of profits to the ministry.

Nagle is looking forward to finally seeing his dream of a benefit concert at the venue become a reality. "It's a real gift," said Nagle, who noted that the anonymous donor came to him with not only the idea, but a plan and put the show together at minimal cost.

Several options are available to attend the limited-seating concert. All proceeds will benefit The Factory. Entrance to the concert will be free as space is available with a suggested donation. To guarantee a seat, a general admission ticket may be purchased. Daniel noted that buying a premium ticket will purchase a seat in the front row and an ultimate premium ticket may be purchased for a private event, where a ticketholder can meet Rowe, hear some live music, receive a T-shirt, and have a conversation with the recording artist.
