Art exhibit to explore new season of life

Danielle Rose, a self-taught local oil painter, is exhibiting her latest collection, "Into the Wild Yonder," at Mulberry Art Studios, 19-21 N. Mulberry St., Lancaster, throughout October.

The series explores how a new season of life - including entering into marriage and beginning a family - has impacted the artist's way of seeing the world and interacting with her craft. She has adapted both her style and subject matter.

Rose has been a resident artist at Mulberry Art Studios in Lancaster since 2018. She began painting in college at St. Francis University, where she earned her doctorate in physical therapy. After moving to Lancaster, Rose continued to develop her abilities in oil painting, frequently drawing inspiration from local artists and the unique atmosphere Lancaster offers. She and her husband welcomed their first daughter, Lucy, on New Year's Eve in 2022.
