The Solanco Historical Society will hold its monthly program and meeting on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the organization's archives building, 1932 Robert Fulton Highway (Route 222), Quarryville. Robert Frick will give a presentation about the early American painter Jacob Eichholtz, who was a native of Lancaster.

Frick holds degrees from Millersville and Temple universities, including a doctorate in educational administration. He is still a teacher of school law and provides workshops for Pennsylvania school districts.

The gathering is free and open to the public.
