Dr. Ralph Ellenberger will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his office, Ellenberger Chiropractic, on Monday, Nov. 4. He opened his chiropractic office on Nov. 4, 1984, in a small office at 14 Marietta Ave. By 1991, he outgrew that space and moved to his current office at 740 W. Main St., Mount Joy.

Over the last five years, his office has eliminated its participation with insurance, allowing the staff to shift its focus to patient care and not on dealing with paperwork. Ellenberger specializes in traditional hands-on chiropractic care while incorporating some of the newer, lighter force and touch techniques. Office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

An open house celebration will take place on Nov. 4; Wednesday, Nov. 6; and Thursday, Nov. 7, during normal business hours. There will be light refreshments and snacks. Free bamboo backscratchers and pocket calendars will be given out, and attendees will have a chance to win one of 40 giveaways.
