The library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24; Christmas, Wednesday, Dec. 25; and New Year's Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Builder's Club, Library Squad, and the Green Thumb Garden Club will not be held in December. These programs will resume in January.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library will be at the library to accept donations of books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and jigsaw puzzles on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from noon to 6 p.m. and on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

KCL's upcoming programs include Baby and Toddler Story Time for children from birth to age 3 on Wednesdays, Jan. 15 to 29, 2025, and Preschool Story Time for children ages 3 to 5 on Fridays, Jan. 17 to 31. These programs will run from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., and reservations are required.

A Holiday Gingerbread Story Time will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A Family Story Time will be held at Chick-fil-A, 2801 E. Market St., York, from 9 to 10 a.m. on Dec. 5.

The Silent Book Club, for people age 13 and up, will meet on Dec. 5 from 6 to 7:45 p.m. The program will include trivia, refreshments, reading, and discussion about books.

The Danger Club, for tweens ages 9 to 11, will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Spoiler Alert! teen book review group will meet via Zoom on Dec. 5 from 5 to 6 p.m. Reservations are requested.

The Manga Book Club for youths ages 12 to 18 will take place on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. This program will occur after the library is closed to the public. Only youths attending this program will be allowed inside.

Stitch and Chat groups, for knitters and crocheters, will meet on Dec. 5 and Thursday, Dec. 19, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. and on Dec. 3 and Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 2:45 p.m.

Reiki Meditation with Miranda will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

York Chess Club, for people of all ages, will be held on Dec. 3, 10, and 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
