Brothers and Sisters in Support (BASIS), a monthly group for parents and grandparents who have experienced the loss of a child or grandchild, will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the prayer and meditation room. For more information, contact group leader Dan Steinman at 717-859-4777.

Care Partner Friends in Community, a group for family caregivers of people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, will meet on Monday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. in the GSV Concord Room. Dementia Learning: Self-Care, A Gift Worth Giving will be presented by Melody Karick, a dementia educator and consultant as well as a GSV team member, on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. The program will be held in the chapel at Meadow View Memory Support, 800 Kraybill Ave., New Holland. Karick will explain what self-care is and how it benefits not only oneself but also loved ones. Registration is required by calling 717-355-6000.

Compassionate Neighbors in Community, a group for friends or family members of those experiencing cognitive challenges, will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. in the GSV theater. This month's session will be an informal discussion facilitated by Karick and fellow GSV team member Leslie Sitlinger.
