Program to focus on cochlear implants

The Lancaster County Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) will hold a meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the Crossings Meeting Room on the second floor of the Calvin G. & Janet C. High Learning & Wellness Center at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz. The program is free of charge.

Sharon Carroll, an engagement manager with Cochlear Americas, will explain how cochlear implants work, who qualifies for one, and the process for obtaining and adapting to one.
