Church to present live Nativity, holiday events

IMPACT Church, 101 E. First Ave., Parkesburg, will present a live Nativity drive-through on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. Participants will be able to enjoy the free event from the warmth of their cars while driving around the parking lot and the church building. Christmas Sunday will be observed on Dec. 22 during services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Featured will be handbell performances from the IMPACT Kids' program and a Christmas photo booth.

A Christmas Eve candlelight gathering will take place at the church on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 5 p.m. After music and a short message, attendees will gather around the outdoor Christmas tree to take part in a traditional candle lighting. Hot cocoa will be served.

Family Fifth Sunday, held on the fifth Sunday of the month throughout the year, will take place on Dec. 29. Children will join the adults in the Sunday gatherings. Dec. 29 is also Baptism Sunday and Christmas Pajama Sunday for the children.
