The Christmas Story
The door of the martin’s house swung open. Whitney had a bright red nose and cheeks, her eye lashes like frostickls. “Brrr” she said. “Why are you wearing your shirt and pants?” “Where is your snowclothes?” asked Mrs. Martin “I was hot,” said Whitney. “So I threw my clothes on the ground, but when I was cold and went to go pick them up again but there was snow on them, so I didn’t put them back on.” “Oh Whitney!” said Mrs. Martin chuckling. Then Westin came in holding Whitney’s snowclothes. “Whitney why where your snow clothes laying in the snow?” As Whitney told him, Mrs. Martin made cookies for everyone. Then Whitney looked at the manger sceen and asked “Mommy can we hear the Cristmas story?” “Sure said Mrs. Martin.” “One day an angel named Gadriel came to Mary and said to her “Do not be afraid for God apresheates you. Behold you shall have a baby, you shall call him Jesus. He will be great.” “How can this be if I hadn’t got married?” asked Mary. “the angel said to her.” “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will have the baby. Your cosin Elizibeth also has a baby in her.” “Then an angel came to Joseph and said “Take Mary as your wife.” “Then they would be parents of Jesus. So they got married and travled to Bethlehem as Mary rode on a donkey. When they tryed to get in to an INN, which would be a hotel. They would not let them in because there was no more room. Then a daghter of an innkeaper sugjested that they go to a stable. So they went to the stable and Jesus was born. Then then the Wisemen came when Jesus was older. The end.” Said Mrs. Martin. Then Mr. Martin got home from work and then they all ate cookies by the fireplace.
