The Lost Lion At Christmas
Once upon a time, there was a group of friends, Don the puma, Haly the snow leopard, and Hanna the cheetah. “Everyone, it’s winter! Wake up!” yelled Haly.
“Ugh, I hate winter.” groaned Don, “It’s 11:00 a.m., I only got 13 hours to sleep.” he groaned once again.
“Ok well … I’ll go wake up Hanna. OH HANNA!” Haly said. Hanna came slowly out of her hole.
“AHHHH! IT’S SNOW! SO COLD!” she whined.
“Is there enough room in there for both of us?” asked Don.
“Well, I’ve got a pretty big place and you’ve been eating too much.” Hanna said “All right I haven’t eaten since… I don’t even know how long it’s been since I’ve eaten!” Don says.
“Now get in before I freeze!” Hanna says quivery.
“WHAT? You guys aren’t staying out to play?” Haly said sniffly, “But I planned a whole day of fun for us!” she said.
“Sorry Haly, we don’t like the snow. You're a snow leopard and I’m a puma so…”
“Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr”
“Mom! NOOOOOOOOOO!” they heard,
“What was that wack-o” 2 hours later…
“Awwww! He’s so cute!” said Haly looking at a BABY LION! “Let's adopt him!” she said
“No! I’m not adopting anyone!” said Don.
“What!” Haly asked.
“Because it’s a LION. When he grows up, he’ll eat the whole forest!” said Hanna.
“Well I’ll be your mother until next christmas.” Haly said.
