The Elizabethtown Chapter of Toastmasters International will hold its annual holiday open house on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and will take place at Community Place on Washington, 61 E. Washington St., Elizabethtown.

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving public speaking skills and fostering professional development. Attendees of the open house will see how a typical meeting is run. Refreshments will be available. Ugly Christmas sweaters or other festive attire are encouraged, but not required.
