Author to speak to women's group

Women of all ages and preschool children are invited to attend Neighbors Sharing and Caring, a women's ministry of the Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Rachel Gehman will present "How Childlike Faith Produces Lifelong Trust," based on 1 John 3:1.

Gehman is a published author, having written nonfiction under the name Rachel D. Lyne, along with "The Apple - A Woman's Battle Plan: Overcoming Forbidden Fruit in Marriage" and multiple articles in Charis Women and Christian Women Living magazines. She is also an editor of novels and curricula as well as a public speaker for women's groups, kindergarten through 12th-grade school groups, and author groups. Gehman holds degrees in business and in biblical studies with a counseling concentration. After nearly two decades of employment in administrative roles, she is now a homeschooling mom.
