The Swift Middle School PTO will host its second annual designer bag bingo on Saturday, Feb. 22, in the cafeteria at the school. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and bingo will start at 1 p.m.

This is the primary fundraiser for the parent and teacher organization, which aims to provide students in sixth through eighth grades with enhanced learning experiences and opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Bingo will consist of 20 regular games - with a high-end purse being the prize for each - plus four special games for a separate fee. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the event. Tickets will be available for a giveaway drawing for more than 65 baskets featuring items like experience passes, culinary creations, toys, home decor, hobby items, and outdoor items.

No food or drinks other than water are permitted. Concessions, including soup, pizza, chili, soft pretzels, and baked goods, will be sold at the event.

In the case of extreme inclement weather, the event will take place on Saturday, March 1. A ticket is required for each person entering the event.
