Scout troop recognized at campout

Seven Scouts and six leaders from Terre Hill Scouts BSA Troop 172 attended the Zombie Survival Klondike starting Feb. 1 at Camp Mack. A total of 22 patrols participated. They camped out in the rain on Friday, but the weather cleared for the event on Saturday.

Troop 172's patrol, The Last of the BSA, placed second in Overall Competition based on the number of points it earned. It also received first place for Best Theme Sled, second place for Best Patrol Spirit, and third place for Best Theme Flag.

The Troop 172 leaders helping on the trip were Scoutmaster Jim Leonard, Dwayne Leonard, Wayne Koppey, John Hansen, Brian Blanchette, and Matt Deets.
