Mount Joy Rotary honors students

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that Rameen Asif and Justin Wood are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for February. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Rameen is the daughter of Sumera Asif and Mohammed Asif Rehmani of Marietta. Rameen has served as a class officer, vice president of the Math Honor Society, and president of the Booster Club, as well as a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. She is a Link Crew leader; a peer tutor; and a member of the DNN TV network, Mini-THON Club and Student Council. Rameen has been named Employee of the Month twice at her job. Rameen plans to attend Penn State University to study marketing.

Justin is the son of Michael and Miel Wood of Mount Joy. He is a member of the baseball and soccer teams, quiz bowl, chess club and Future Business Leaders of America. He is also a Student Athlete Leader. Outside of school, Justin coaches soccer and volunteers. Justin's career goal is to work in the biomedical engineering field, making prosthetics, possibly for young children.
