The Elizabethtown Optimist Club has named Jillian Morris and Callie Love-Morris as the Student-Athletes of the Month for February.

Jillian is the daughter of Trish and Dave Morris of Elizabethtown. She is a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society, the captain of Paws and Think, and the vice president of the Class of 2025. She is a co-captain of the girls' varsity basketball team and a three-year varsity track athlete.

She plans to attend Liberty University in the fall to study nursing.

Callie is the daughter of Jeanie Love and Johnny Morris. She is involved in girls' varsity lacrosse, soccer, and basketball. In lacrosse, she was recognized as a Lancaster-Lebanon League attack All-Star, and in basketball, she is a team captain and won the Heart and Hustle Award. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Callie has committed to play Division II lacrosse at Bloomsburg University. She will major in criminal justice and participate in the Bloomsburg Air Force ROTC program.

Callie plans to enlist in the Air National Guard when she graduates college and become a security police officer. She plans to attend the police academy and become a K-9 officer. One of Callie's goals when she becomes a police officer is to be present and care for the families involved in the cases she works on.
