GEARS will offer outdoor beginner pickleball lessons for people age 18 and up at the Legion Park tennis and pickleball courts in Marietta. The program will be held on Saturdays, April 26 and May 3, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The lessons will cover basic techniques, rules, and strategies. All equipment will be provided.

Iddy Biddy Gym Class Heroes, for kids ages 3 to 6, will take place on Thursdays, May 29 to July 3, from 6:15 to 7 p.m. in the gym at the GEARS Community Center, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. The class will not meet on June 12. This class is an introduction to sports and classic gym class games, including soccer, gymnastics, football, basketball, and group games.

GEARS will offer a bus trip to Atlantic City, N.J., on Saturday, June 14. The coach bus will depart from the parking lot of Elizabethtown Area High School, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown, at 8:15 a.m. and return at approximately 9:15 p.m. The trip will offer free time in Atlantic City.
