Concert to feature string music

Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will host the Two Rivers Chamber Music String Quartet on Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m. The program is part of the church's Starlight Tea Concert Series.

Two Rivers Chamber Music is based in Maryland and was founded by identical twin brothers Michael and Matthew Polonchak in 2013. The classically trained musicians maintain an active schedule presenting concerts and performing for special events primarily in the greater Philadelphia; Baltimore; and Washington, D.C., areas.

Three of the current members started their study on their instruments at ages 5, 6, and 8. They have performed with the Air Force Strings, National Philharmonic, Maryland Symphony, and Harrisburg Symphony, to name a few. Their extensive repertoire ranges from Bach and Mozart to film scores.

Admission is free, and a freewill offering will be received. Tea and cookies will be served following the concert.
