Mount Joy Rotary Recognizes Students

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for May are Elizabeth Pennell and Adam Stauffer. Students of the Month are honored during the Rotary Club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Elizabeth Pennell is the daughter of Kelli Pennell of Marietta. Elizabeth is the secretary of the Donegal Performing Arts group and a member of the wardrobe crew, and she is the secretary for the Booster Club. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and choir. She is a Link Crew leader. Outside of school, Elizabeth is a camp counselor at Camp YoliJwa and a children's church teacher, and she oversees games at vacation Bible school at Mount Joy Church of God. Elizabeth plans to attend college and major in elementary education.

Adam Stauffer is the son of Todd Stauffer of Marietta. Adam is a member of the soccer and track teams, quiz bowl team, Key Club, chess club, Donegal News Network team, and National Honor Society. He is also a peer tutor. Adam plans to attend college to study psychology.
