Sheriff's Office sets community events

The Chester County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) has announced the return of two community engagement events: Think Before You Post and Cupcakes with a Cop. These events aim to help educate and engage the community and to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community. They offer both informational and interactive opportunities for residents to connect with their law enforcement officers.

Think Before You Post will be held on Friday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chester County Justice Center, 201 W. Market St., West Chester. The seminar will examine how a person's social media posts may affect his or her life. Topics will also include the importance of responsible online behavior and the potential criminal implications of sharing certain types of content. Parents, students, and teachers are encouraged to attend. The event is free of charge, but registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/ThinkBeforeYouPostMay2025.

In recognition of National Police Week, the Chester County Sheriff's Office will collaborate with the West Chester Police Department to hold a Cupcakes with a Cop event on Friday, May 16, from noon to 2 p.m. at Dia Doce Cupcakes, 100 S. High St., West Chester. This event will provide the opportunity to interact with local law enforcement personnel in a friendly setting while enjoying complimentary cupcakes. Residents of all ages are invited to attend. The event is free of charge, and no prior registration is required.
