Inclusive egg hunt held in Lititz

Now I Can Foundation Northeast in Lititz welcomed more than 300 children and their families to its All-Inclusive Eggstra Special Egg Hunt on April 7, an event designed to celebrate and include children of all abilities.

Hosted at Now I Can's pediatric physical therapy center, the event featured four egg hunts, each created to meet different needs: a quiet and calm hunt for children who benefit from a low-sensory environment; a visual impairment hunt for children with limited vision; a mobility impairment hunt for children using walkers, wheelchairs or gait trainers; and a large group scramble for children of all abilities to participate together.

Beyond the egg hunts, children and families enjoyed a live magic show by Papa Tater, face painting, hand-drawn caricatures and fun crafts. Families also connected with local community resources and enjoyed food and sweet treats.

Now I Can Foundation Northeast offers physical therapy for children with neurological and developmental challenges through a focused three-week treatment model.
